Post-Lunartine’s reflection
In early 2021, I registered DBA for Sphyrn Marketing, a woman-owned company, aspired to run culture-blending events. The first solo event for Sphyrn Marketing didn't come easy.
Lunartine's Box Pop-up was inspired by the duration of Lunar New Year and Valentine's Day overlapping. My business buddy @thebobabish was crazy enough to agree to this operation despite having less than 1 week to plan this mission impossible. We locked down on the dessert box idea by pulling in dessert vendors with whom I've partnered before; then we looped in @natsuu_himee for graphics. Of course, this would not have been possible without @musetea.co giving us a green light!
The project launched on Wednesday, Feb 10th, leaving us with 2-3 days for marketing. Knowing how great each of the desserts is, I wasn't concerned about our sales and numbers don't lie—67% of the boxes were sold in 48 hours.
Sphyrn Marketing owe the small victory to @natsuu_himee for graphics, @miasgoodiestx for always delicious desserts, @ubecohtx for never turning me down, @musetea.co for your hospitality, @streettreats.lk for too-cute-to-eat macaroons, Allen for wheel cakes, Jared for friendship, @gaga_chia for constant encouragement, and @thebobabish for your generosity, open-mindedness, words of wisdom, and this amazing partnership.
Everyone who bought a box from us, I cannot thank you enough for supporting my first solo event. Everyone who wrote or filmed me a wonderful box review, I’m forever in debt to you.
I am grateful for y’all and that would forever drive Sphyrn Marketing forward and never backward!
